Technical Support Consultant

Paperless Business Systems, Inc., a growing web software development company, is looking for a Technical Support Consultant. We are looking for a super-organized communicator and collaborative problem-solver. This is someone who loves working with software and technology, who has a real talent for understanding complex business requirements and anticipating client needs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who takes initiative to seek out tasks and follow through with every issue.

Responsibilities

  • A wide variety of customer-facing support services
  • Excellent customer relationships
  • First and second level technical support by email and phone
  • Effectively participate in meetings with clients and staff to resolve technical issues
  • Translate client requirements into test plans
  • Quality control for end product and deliverables
  • Accountable for quality assurance of implementations
  • Coordinate with project team members
  • Develop and improve team processes, documentation and procedures
  • Become an expert in eRequester web-based purchasing and related accounting software
  • Substantially contribute to the growth of the company by maintaining excellent client relationships and solid product support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least two years experience as a Technical Support Representative, Tester, Software Developer, or IT Consultant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Experience working with business software desired
  • Knowledge of SQL desired
  • Familiarity with several of the following is desired: VB, C#, ASP, .Net, JavaScript, HTML and/or XML
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices is desired
