Sales Manager
Paperless Business Systems, a growing business application software and IT consulting firm in Seattle, is searching for a Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The candidate will have the opportunity to help build the sales organization, contribute to the development of sales and marketing programs, and provide leadership for customer service. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales of the company’s flagship product, eRequester®, a web-based purchasing and approval routing system that integrates with multiple accounting systems to help control spending, and allows companies to quickly and efficiently track requisitions, Purchase Orders and other spending requests from initial creation to receipt, track against budgets and provide visibility and reporting.

Responsibilities
- Make regular calls and contacts with new client prospects
- Manage a growing sales and customer service team
- Manage lead sources
- Manage reseller channels
- Train sales staff and improve sales processes and procedures
- Develop territory/account plans and strategies to achieve goals and quota objectives
- Employ consultative selling process to clients on best practice solutions
- Help with contracts and closing process
- Analyze and document client requirements for handoff to project management
- Communicate the value propositions of Paperless Business Systems to potential clients
- Provide leadership and contribute to the growth of the company
Requirements
- At least two years of professional experience in a sales management position
- At least five years of professional experience in sales and/or marketing
- Experience closing significant number of deals with mid-market and larger companies
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, methodologies and best practices
- Experience working with reseller channels
- Understanding of supply chain concepts, e-commerce applications or web-based solutions
- Comfortable presenting to all levels within an organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience recruiting and retaining staff
- Software experience preferred
- Business degree or related field preferred
