elephants & ants, the creative division of Paperless Business Systems, Inc., is looking for a multi-talented designer. Our team of project managers, designers and developers work on online marketing and advertising, branding, print, presentation, and web site projects.

We're looking for a designer who is creative and also technically savvy. A strong portfolio is a must, as are good analytical and production skills. Quick learners and people who can jump in and get the job done with flair, attention to detail, and humor do well at elephants & ants.

Responsibilities

	Complete assigned deliverables on time
	Assist with developing project specifications, creative briefs and project schedules
	Help organize projects into subtasks
	Participate in developing and improving team processes and procedures
	Participate in client meetings

Requirements

	Strong brainstorming skills (both in group settings and individually)
	Strong knowledge of web user interface design and an architectural approach to navigation
	Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting projects and strategies (internally and to clients)Previous experience working in a consulting firm preferred
	The ability to work gracefully with different team members - including project managers, developers and other designers
	The ability to anticipate client needs and suggest ideas that make sense with the client's business goals in mind

Experience

	2+ years Internet design (both consumer-oriented and business-to-business)
	2+ years print design
	In-depth knowledge of: Adobe PhotoShop, Macromedia Flash MX, Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand, HTML and CSS, Macromedia HomeSite, some Javascript experience preferred, Microsoft Powerpoint, Quark XPress (optional), GIF animation, web color theory, typography, corporate identity systems
	Working knowledge of web design project life cycles
	Understand/execute concepts of usability and accessibility
	Application interface and e-commerce design experience a plus
	Must be comfortable working in Microsoft Windows environment
	A degree in design, fine arts or communications preferred
